Fig. 6 — Median values were taken as cutoff limits when the two groups were compared. Survival analyses were performed using the Kaplan–Meier method for the estimation of event rates, and a log-rank test was used for survival comparisons between patient groups. The P value was 5%. PHB expression level (p < 0.01) and histological G stage (p < 0.05) both were independent prognostic factors, but the others risk factors, although showing the classical tendencies, did not appear to impact on the prognosis independency.
