Uncovering the impact of epigenetic regulation on various organismal phenomena with in vivo reprogramming. During reprogramming, dynamic reorganization of epigenetic regulation takes place in vitro and in vivo. Short‐term induction of OSKM in vivo ameliorates aging‐associated phenotypes and extends lifespan. In contrast, premature termination of in vivo reprogramming can cause the development of cancer.
