In our structure, we refer to the E-hooks as chains (AD) where (B and D) are β-tubulin (cyan) E-hooks, and (A and C) the corresponding α-tubulin (brown) E-hooks. All four E-hooks present in the structure are colored black and labeled according to the chain letter of the corresponding tubulins.
