Nociceptin mRNA is mainly expressed in the internal granule cell layer during early phases of development. Gene expression of nociceptin was measured by real-time PCR at P8 (postnatal day 8). Each value is the mean (± S.E.) of 4 cerebella. Statistical analysis was performed with the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by Dunn's test: *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 versus IGL.
