Protein cluster analysis and functional assignment. The proteins with the top 25% changes in the dataset (based on standard deviations of values at five time points) were grouped in six distinct clusters based on profile similarity during the resuscitation process. Assigned protein functions were categorized according to biological processes and are listed below the profiles (with ≥ 3 proteins per category; number of categorized proteins is indicated in parentheses). Where appropriate, the dominant subcategory is indicated in percent relative to the main category. Detailed information of clustered proteins is provided in supplemental Tables S2–S7.
