The images of the biofilms formed in 6 different media (1. 0% sucrose +0% glucose, 2. 0.5% sucrose, 3. 1% sucrose, 4. 0.5% glucose, 5. 1% glucose, and 6. 0.5% sucrose +0.5% glucose) using confocal laser scanning microscopy, and (a) bio-volume and (b) thickness of bacteria (green) and EPS (red) of the biofilms were quantified by COMSTAT software.
