Kaplan-Meier curves are shown for time to death until 365 days. The time at risk observed was 763·3 and 763·3 child-years in the co-trimoxazole group and placebo group, respectively, of which 395·3 and 398·7 child-years, respectively, were during the first 6 months while receiving the study drug.
