A single nanoantenna radiating a spherical wave with a characteristic phase profile as well as amplitude and polarization. This spherical wave is transformed into a plane wave in the back focal plane of a microscope objective. Measuring the amplitude, polarization, and phase content of the light over all angles enables detailed reconstruction of the antenna physics
