In vivo subchondral bone regeneration evaluation by alizarin red staining. Alizarin red-stained images of blank (A-B), BGC (E-F), and 7.5Mo-BGC (I-J) groups at week 8 and blank (C-D), BGC (G-H), and 7.5Mo-BGC (K-L) groups at week 12. The alizarin red staining results showed that 7.5Mo-BGC better promoted the formation of subchondral bone than the blank and BGC groups.
