Using BC stimuli, the vibration reaches the right (VR) and the left (VL) vestibular organ by approximately the same intensity at frequencies around 250 Hz.

Notes: Therefore, BC stimuli only needs to be applied from one side (BCR), whereas with AC stimuli it must be applied from both sides (ACR and ACL) in order to evoke cVEMP response in both cervical muscles (SCMR and SCML) or to evoke oVEMP in both orbital muscles (IOMR and IOML).
