LC-MS/MS was performed on three independent biological replicates of 24-h planktonic cultures of transiently restricted (TR) or continuously exposed (CE) NTHI. A total of 6,973 peptides and 1,183 proteins were quantified. Proteins represented with a single peptide count were excluded. Of the remaining proteins, those which passed a fold change cutoff of ±1.5 and P < 0.01 are included in the table. Differential expression determination was based on calculation of the fold change (positive numbers indicate proteins that are more represented in the TR population; negative numbers indicate proteins that are more represented in the CE population), as determined by a two-tailed Student t test.
