Guidelines for Evaluation

1. The system must be designed for direct use by caregivers.
2. The product must be proven in an institution similar to this hopsital and the system must be provided by a stable vendor.
3. The system must be one that can serve as a basis for reengineering the hospital's work processes.
4. The vendor must offer a fully integrated product.
5. The selected system must provide a financial payback.
6. The system must provide the basis for a computer-based patient record.
