Backward stepwise selection was used to finalize the predictors for HbA1C (>6.5%) and eGFR (<60 ml/min/1.73m2). Finalized predictors for HbA1C are age (0.0488), ACE2 (0.0213), NEP_u (−0.000224), and ACE2 [NEP_u (0.000092)].
