Initial Evaluation and Management
1) Establishing for Circulation, Airway and Breathing. (C-A-B).
2) I.V Fluids=0.9% Normal Saline
3) If needed rapid sequence intubation
4) Blood pressure Management:(See Below)
5) Screening for Dysphagia
6) DVT prophylaxis with Mechanical devices
7) G.I prophylaxis with either H2 blockers or proton pump inhibitors
8) Maintenance of core body temperature to <32.7 C either with a use of acetaminophen or ibuprofen or external cooling devices in refractory cases.
9) Target of blood Glucose between 140–180 mg/dl
