Effects of ABVista yeast (S. cerevisiae) on apparent total tract digestibility of dietary fiber components in natural-program beef steers fed steam-flaked corn-based finishing diets. There was a quadratic response for NDF, with greater digestibility for the LY treatment vs. the CTL and HY treatments (P < 0.01; SEM = 1.808; n = 12), and a substantial increase (P < 0.01) for ADF and hemicellulose with either yeast treatment compared with the CTL treatment.
