RNA samples were compared using RNA-seq. Thirty candidate flavonoid biosynthetic genes had higher transcript abundance in the skin sample (>2 log2fold change), while one had higher transcript abundance in the flesh sample (>-2 log2fold change). Gene model number is abbreviated with full number shown in Supplementary Table S2. Data shown are genes with differential expression with a cut off value of greater than 2 log2fold.
