The concentrations and percent enrichments of ¹³C in lactate, glucose, and β-hydroxybutyrate in the plasma. No differences were found for these compounds between the room-air and vapor-treated groups. Samples volumes during the infusion were too small to detect glucose, whose C1 resonance lies near that of water. No significant group differences were detected for concentrations or ¹³C enrichments (p > 0.20).
