Mutations in sek and seq affect PMN-like MDSC modulating activities of S. aureus supernatants. For stimulation of PBMC, supernatants from JE2 strains harboring transposon mutations in the genes sek, seq, selX and in a putative “type A”enterotoxin gene were used.
