Application of donepezil in osteogenic differentiation medium resulted in a significant increase in Collagen 1a1 mRNA expression in ODS group (A, p=0.029). On protein level Collagen type 1 was determined by Picro-Sirius Red (PSR) staining followed by histomorphometrical measurement which determined a significant increase in the OVX group compared to untreated cells (B, p=0.009).
