The source space is defined as a grid of points along this surface, shown in yellow. All points further than 7 cm from the closest MEG sensor (shown as blue squares in the background) have been discarded. (Right) The forward model defines two dipoles at each source point. The orientation of the dipoles is tangential to a sphere with its origin at the center of the brain.
