SC50: the concentration of a sample required for scavenging 50% of the free radicals in the diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical and nitric oxide (NO) radical scavenging assays. IC50: the concentration of a sample that resulted in 50% inhibition of the bioactivity in the β-carotene-linoleic acid, 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), and tyrosinase inhibitory activity assays. α-Tocopherol, β-bisabolol, and l-ascorbic acid were positive controls. Data are presented as the mean ± standard deviation based on triplicate determination. Means in the same row followed by different lowercase letters are significantly different (p < 0.05).
