Examination of the consistency of granulosa cell (GC) number per follicle in a donor. a 12 randomly selected AFs were aspirated (solid arrow) from each gilt ovary to obtain GC. The aspiration was repeated to obtain two sets of GCs from each gilt. Seventeen gilts were used for this comparison. The GC number per follicle was determined using real-time PCR. b There was a significant correlation between the GC number of the two sets (R = 0.59, P < 0.05).
