Activation of p47^phox/NOX contributes to rosiglitazone‐induced HO‐1 expression. (A) HPAEpiCs were pretreated with APO and then incubated with vehicle or rosiglitazone (30 μM) for the indicated time intervals. Western blot was performed by using an anti‐phospho‐p47^phox or anti‐p47^phox antibody. (B–D) Rosiglitazone‐induced NADPH oxidase activity and ROS generation (ELISA and immunostaining) were reduced by pretreatment with APO or DPI in HPAEpiCs.
