Humanin treatment reduces age-related cognitive decline. (A) Middle-aged mice treated with humanin perform better than control on the rotarod test after 6 months of treatment. After 10 months of treatment, treated mice had a significant improvement in (B) search strategy and (C) success rate in the Barnes maze.
