GSK3 overexpression induces a delay in mitotic exit. (A) HeLa cells were transfected with plasmid containing GSK3V5. Cells were subjected to double thymidine block and released for 13 hours, after which chromosome spreads were used to analyze mitotic index. ~300 cells were analyzed in a blinded study from each condition, which were in triplicate. (B) HeLa cells were transiently transfected with V5-Gsk3β and analyzed by immunofluorescence using V5 antibodies to confirm expression.
