Evaluation of joint disability using weight bearing test. Groups: PROF250, prophylactically administered strontium ranelate (SrRan) 250 mg/kg 4 weeks before osteoarthritis (OA) induction; SR250 and SR500, OA-induced and treated with SrRan 250 and 500 mg/kg, respectively for 4 weeks after induction; SAL, OA-induced and receiving only saline; CONTROL, untreated and not OA-induced.
