FIG 3

Imaging of fluorescent chromagranin A (CgA) and capsids in axons. CAD neurons were infected for 20 h with a baculovirus expressing CgA-RFP, a cargo transported by kinesin-3 family members, and then infected with F-VP26/GFP, which expresses VP26-GFP (small capsid protein fused to GFP), for 18 h. The neurons were fixed with 4% PFA and imaged. None of the capsid+ puncta contained detectable CgA-RFP fluorescence and vice versa.
