Polydatin attenuated liver injury and hepatocyte apoptosis in mice induced by MCD diet. Mice were fed with MCD diet or control diet for 4 weeks. Mice fed with MCD diet were intraperitoneal injected with 5 mg/kg polydatin daily in the period of experiment. Apoptotic cells of liver were detected by means of TUNEL assay (n=5/group).
