Polydatin blocks inflammation in mice induced by MCD. Mice were fed with MCD diet or control diet for 4 weeks. Mice fed with MCD diet were intraperitoneal injected with 5 mg/kg polydatin daily in the period of experiment. Polydatin suppressed inflammatory reaction and the expression of immunity correlating cytokines induced by MCD diet.
