TRIM21 expression is decreased in breast cancer.

Notes: (A) The mRNA expression of TRIM21 in 21 pairs of breast cancer tissues was determined by quantitative real-time PCR. (B) The protein level of TRIM21 in 12 paired breast cancer tissues (T) and nontumorous tissues (N) was examined by Western blot. The relative protein densities were measured and are shown. (C) TRIM21 expression in 169 paraffin-embedded samples was examined by IHC. Representative images (left panel) of low (T1 and N1) and high (T2 and N2) expression of TRIM21 were presented. The IHC scores are also indicated to show the decrease of TRIM21 in breast cancer.
