Protein extracts were analysed using (A) SDS-PAGE stained with Coomassie blue dye and (B) western blot developed with mouse anti-histidine tag monoclonal antibody. Extracts of N. benthamiana leaves transformed with Nb5-IgA and Nb5-IgY fusion constructs were tested. Leaves infiltrated with A. tumefaciens harbouring the vector pEAQ-HT were used as negative control.
