Cooperative DP1/DP2 receptor activation mediates leptin-induced lipid body-driven LTC₄ synthesis. Human (A) and mouse (B) eosinophils were pretreated with DP1 (BWA868c; 200 nM) or DP2 (CAY10471; 200 nM) receptor antagonists for 30 min before stimulation with respectively hr leptin or mr leptin (50 nM) for 1 h. Lipid body count was evaluated in osmium-stained cells and LTC₄ production in cell-free supernatants by EIA kits.
