Proliferative and migratory assay of endometriosis-derived hESC. (A) The proliferation rate of hESC derived from eutopic endometrium of controls (n = 4) and endometriosis patients (n = 4) was assessed by calculating the time taken to reach 50% confluence in the presence of normal medium, 0 mM Ca2+, 5 mM Ca2+, and 10 mM Mg2+; (B) The migratory capacity of hESC derived from endometriosis patients (n = 4) compared to control hESC (n = 4). Using the scratch-wound assay, the time needed for 50% closure was calculated. Data are presented as mean + SEM. Statistically significant changes in proliferative and migratory rate were assessed using the Two-way ANOVA statistical test with Bonferroni correction.
