ω3-enriched diets prevent proliferation in vivo. Mice were injected with Bromo-deoxyuridine (BrdU) one hour prior to collection. Cell proliferation was assessed by immunohistochemistry to identify the incorporation of BrdU into the DNA of proliferating cells.
