Reverted effects on both the RUNX2 and RANK-L protein expression with BPFon β-catenin knockdown Saos-2 cells. Semi-confluent cultures of human osteoblast-like cells (Saos-2) were pretreated with scrambled or β-catenin siRNA for 48 h, then incubated with BPF 0.001-0.01-0.1 mg/mL for 24 h. Cell proteins were analyzed by Western blotting, with antibodies specific to (A) RUNX2, (B) RANKL and β-actin. Data are represented as mean ± SD.
