(A) The number of C3aR‐positive cells was significantly increased in patients with inflammatory cardiomyopathy compared with non‐inflammatory cardiomyopathy (1.75 ± 0.31 in inflammatory cardiomyopathy vs. 0.94 ± 0.26 in non‐inflammatory cardiomyopathy, P = 0.049). (B) There was no difference in the number of C5aR‐expressing cells (0.48 ± 0.13 in inflammatory cardiomyopathy vs. 0.62 ± 0.17 in non‐inflammatory cardiomyopathy, P = 0.513).
