Basal locomotor activity of CD1 and BMP7 transgenic mice. (A) In CD1 mice, BMP7 (1 μg/μl×5 μl, i.c.v., –∇–) did not alter (A1) total distance traveled, (A2) movement time, and (A3) horizontal activity, compared with animals receiving i.c.v. vehicle (—■—). (B) BMP7 +/− mice (—▲—) had a significant increase in all basal locomotor activities compared with the +/+ mice (—●—).
