Patients above the line were defined as IL-5/IL-13 high, while those below the line were defined as IL-5/IL-13 low. (C) Log normalized mucus cytokine levels for IL-5 and IL-13 were scaled, combined, and centered. A Th2-high cut-off was then identified by adding 2 SDs to the mean data for healthy controls (dashed line).
