Metabolites associated with urea cycle and creatine metabolism were increased in cord plasma samples of preeclampsia pregnancies. Urea, creatine, creatinine, homocitrulline and guanidinopropionate levels were significantly increased in the umbilical cord plasma samples of preeclampsia cases when compared to controls. Mean and 95% confidence intervals are show for the groups as well as p-values from t-test.
