Immunofluorescence cytochemistry (IFC) confirmed nuclear translocation of c-Rel after IL-1β treatment. IFC in eutopic endometriosis stromal cell (EESC) monolayers showed diffuse cytoplasmic localization of c-Rel under control conditions (green signal). Twenty minutes after IL-1β exposure, c-Rel became associated with the cell nuclei. DAPI (blue signal) was used to highlight cell nuclei.
