Diabetic NKO mice display lower levels of renal inflammatory cytokines. Kidneys from diabetic WT, NKO, and CKO mice and their respective nondiabetic (Non-D) controls were collected after 6 months of diabetes. Whole-kidney homogenates were assessed for (A) IL-1β, (B) TNF-α, and (C) IL-6 by ELISA.
