Men, long-term physical conditions ‘no’, diagnosis ‘anxiety’ and psychotropic medication ‘prescribed not taking’ were reference classes for the categorical variables.
The diagnosis anxiety encompasses patients diagnosed with agoraphobia, generalised anxiety disorder, hypochondriacal disorder, obsessive–compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social phobia, specific phobia or anxiety disorder unspecified.
