Effect of remifentanil treatment on cell viability and proliferation. Remifentanil did not affect cell proliferation and did not have cytotoxic effects on osteoclast precursor cells. A BMMs were cultured in a medium containing the indicated concentrations of remifentanil (0–100 ng/ml) for 24 h. Cell viability was evaluated by an MTT assay.
