PTBP1 expression is upregulated in breast cancer cell lines and clinical tumor samples. (a) Overexpression of PTBP1 in various breast cancer cell lines. The expression of PTBP1 in a series of the breast cancer cell lines MCF‐7, ZR‐75‐1, ZR‐75‐30, MDA‐MB‐453, HCC1937, Hs578T, MDA‐MB231, and normal breast epithelia MCF‐10A determined by western blot analysis. Actin was used as the control. (b) The expression of PTBP1 in 137 pairs of breast cancer tissue compared with normal tissue as determined by western blot analysis. Actin was used as the control. (c) Immunohistochemical staining for PTBP1 in human breast cancers and normal tissue. PTBP1 mainly localized in the nucleus of tumor cells.
