Knockdown of PTBP1 expression inhibits in vitro proliferation and invasiveness of breast cancer cells. (a) MTT assay evaluation of influence of PTBP1 knockdown on cell viability. Cell growth is inhibited in shPTBP1 1# and shPTBP1 3# compared with control subline. (b) Colony formation assays were performed to test the colony formation ability in respective cell lines after infection with shRNA and the controls.
