A) Plasma concentration of miR-146a was measured in asthmatic (n = 35) and non-asthmatic healthy controls (n = 19) using qRT-PCR. Asthmatic individuals had a median of 4.73x106 copies of miR-146a/μL vs. healthy individuals who had a median of 4.24x105 copies/μL. Mann Whitney test determined significance at p < 0.05.
