The inhibitory effect of miR-204 on AML cell growth was abolished by restoration of BIRC6. (A) AML5, HL-60, Kasumi-1 or U937 cells were cotransfected with miR-204 mimics (miR-204-m) and BIRC6 plasmid for 48 h. The protein expression of BIRC6 and p53 were determined, respectively. (B) Cell viability was determined by CCK-8 assay. (C) Flow cytometry was used to examine cell apoptosis by Annexin V/PI staining. (D) Cell cycle was also quantified by flow cytometry.
