L. plantarum attenuates CEF-induced cytokine and chemokine gene expression in liver. Adult female mice were fed liquid diet with EtOH (EF) or isocaloric maltodextrin (PF) and with or without L. plantarum (106 CFU/ml) (LP). RNA extracted from liver was subjected to qPCR for TNF-α (A), IL-1β (B), IL-6 (C), IL-10 (D), CCL5 (E), MCP1 (F), CXCL1 (G), and CXCL2 (H) genes.
