Activation of the promoter-driven luciferase in HEK293 cells by wild-type and mutated constructs, as well as in mutated constructs after introduction of wild-type base T at position c.-542 in the mutant construct. An approximately 10-fold increased luciferase activation could be detected only in the c.-542A construct.
