Hydrogen sulfide decreased the level of ROS induced by hypoxia in 16HBE14o- cells. Generation of ROS was determined by laser scanning confocal microscope analysis after staining the cells with DCFH-DA. (a, b) 16HBE14o- cells were pretreated with CoCl2 in varying doses (0, 100, 200, 400, 600, or 1000 μmol/L).
